Reading

I can evaluate writers’ purposes and consider how they have used structure and language to suit these purposes. (Eg: I can make decisions about why the writer has written a piece of writing and how they have used particular structures and words to meet the purpose.)

I think I have reached Extended Abstract because, I can evaluate writers’ purposes and consider how they have used structure and language to suit these purposes.

My next step is to sit with a teacher, and discuss a new goal.

Down below is a link to my evidence,

Leadership in the Food Forest (Can Do) #3

Leadership in the Food Forest  (Can Do)

Yesterday, we did gardening. We split into eight groups. Half of the groups did gardening, and the other half went to the juniors to help them with their learning.

I did gardening first. We worked with the year fours as well.

The first thing we did was, picking the old seeds.

Here are some photos of the food forest:

Here some people are picking the old seeds from the flowers/ plants. There was a lot of work to do, and lots of seeds to pick.

Here is the food forest from far away.

And here is the chicken tractor.
It is a place were chickens can come out of their coop and into the food forest, and eat the plants and dig the ground.
